The Process: Step by Step
Consultation
This is very much a two way process and the time it takes is entirely driven by you - because only when you’re totally happy, are we totally happy too.
After your initial consultation with your Patient Advisor, we arrange for your photographs and medical history to be sent to your chosen Surgeon. Along with these, we send a biography of you, detailing exactly what you want to achieve.
Your Surgeon will then respond with a comprehensive summary of what can be done for you, the time involved and the cost. The Surgeon may wish to clarify parts of your medical history to be absolutely sure of all relevant aspects.
We can, of course, arrange for you to speak to your Surgeon directly.
Once you are entirely happy, and you decide to book and pay your deposit, we will make further arrangements – keeping you informed every step of the way.
Your Patient Advisor will be on hand at all times to answer your questions but all you need to do is turn up at the airport!.
Upon Arrival
On arrival a car will collect you at the airport and take you to the clinic for a further consultation with your Surgeon and his team where you will be able to ask any other questions you may have. You will then be able to spend a relaxing evening in your hotel and you will meet your personal assistant, a nurse, who will go over the routine for the day of your surgery.
The Big Day
After your surgery, you will be visited by your Surgeon and closely monitored by the medical team to ensure total peace of mind. You will stay at the clinic for one or two days (depending on your procedure) and subsequently discharged into the care of your assistant in the hotel who will look after you for the rest of your stay with us. Your assistant will make sure you are comfortable and happy and will make arrangements for your return visits to the clinic.
‘You’ Time
The rest of your stay with us in your chosen hotel is all about ‘You time’.. It's the chance for you to take your time and recover properly.
We have a dedicated team there to look after you, make the most of it! We will make sure you have everything you need and that you rest!..
Take advantage of being away from the ironing and the dishwasher.. Read, listen to music... When you feel stronger start to enjoy the local culture, and take advantage of your trip abroad.
Returning Home
At the end of your stay, we will take you back to the airport for your flight home. Back in the UK, we continue your care with a follow-up at a local hospital if required, your Surgeon will be in touch to monitor your progress and, of course, your Patient Advisor will remain in touch for as long as you feel is needed.
