Is Facial Surgery for Me?
As with any procedure, facial surgery is a big decision. You are a good candidate if you have lost definition in your jaw line, have deep wrinkles in the cheeks, sagging around the cheek bones, loose skin, wrinkles, or excess fatty tissue in the neck. A discussion with your personal patient coordinator will assist you deciding if facial surgery is the option for you.
The Facial Surgery Procedure
With facial surgery we aim to achieve a ‘fresh’ look. We want people to say you look good but not be sure why! Our facial surgeons apply various different procedures, which range from brow lift, mid face lift, to neck lift and more. Only after a consultation with our surgeon will it be clear which techniques will be appropriate for you. The facial surgeon will then explain to you how he will carry out this procedure.
Generally, an incision is hidden in the natural contour of your ear which then extends around the earlobe and back into the hairline. Through these discreet incisions, your surgeon will free the skin from the underlying tissue. After the skin has been pulled up and back, the excess is removed. In some instances, the deeper tissues may also need to be repositioned.
What Happens After My Facial Surgery Aroad?
Following your facial surgery you will stay in the hospital overnight and the next day be discharged to your hotel in the care of your personal assistant to continue your recovery. Your recovery time in the hotel will be approximately one week and is spent resting and generally taking it easy. Once back in the UK we will monitor you until you feel you are back to normal after your facial surgery abroad.
